ARVAL APPOINTS GERRY WAGNER AS DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS

Arval, European leader in full service vehicle leasing and new sustainable mobility solutions, anticipates changes in its sector, society and the market as best it can. With this in mind and in line with the strategic ambitions of its Arval Beyond plan, Arval announces the appointment of Gerry Wagner as its new Director of Institutional Relations at international level.

Gerry Wagner holds a degree in Computer Science and a master's degree in Business Administration from the IAE in Nancy. He began his career in Luxembourg in the banking sector (Dexia Bank, Fortis) before moving on to the insurance sector. In 2005, he joined Arval as General Manager of the Luxembourg subsidiary.

In this newly created role, Gerry Wagner reports to Bart Beckers, Arval Chief Commercial Officer. He represents Arval in international political and decision-making bodies and participates in the governance of the leasing and car rental industry associations. He also conveys Arval’s voice in the major issues decided at the European Union level (data, taxation, energy transition, etc.).
