Today, Arval, a European leader in full service leasing and new mobility solutions, and SIXT, a global provider of high-quality mobility services, announce they have concluded a strategic partnership agreement, by collaborating in all their geographies, beginning with Germany, France, the Netherlands, UK and Belgium.
The collaboration will allow Arval to offer the employees of their corporate clients and partner companies’ access to SIXT products and its network. Arval’s new mobility offering will include Arval´s long- and mid-term rental products as well as SIXT’s products in a local as well as international dimension via Arval´s proprietary online and mobile channels. SIXT will equally be one of the preferred suppliers for Arval’s replacement business as part of the agreement. In the future, joint clients will benefit from the complementary services of both companies.
The mobility market is one of the most dynamically growing areas of our society and is estimated to be worth approximately € 500 billion globally. The demand for individual and flexible mobility is continuously increasing. In order to exploit the growth potential in this market, strong partnerships - alongside internationalization and the digitization of business - are a decisive factor for future success.
Alain Van Groenendael, Arval Chairman & CEO, declares “Early October, we launched Arval’s new 5-year strategic plan, Arval Beyond. With this new plan, we are convinced that offering 360° mobility services to our clients and building strong partnerships with key actors is essential. In SIXT we see a solid group with a unique digital offer, and they stand out for the excellence of their offers and innovations. Leveraging on our respective strengths, we will be able to develop our businesses, and offer our clients a comprehensive range of services for the years to come in our key markets in Europe”.
Konstantin Sixt, Chief Sales Officer at Sixt SE, states, "Arval is a notable success story with an impressive growth track record over the last 5 years. Arval and SIXT are convinced that the future of mobility lies in offering our clients a broad range of mobility options, rather than just one single product. SIXT sees the current crisis as an opportunity to set the course to emerge from it even stronger. This includes strong partnerships, and this is why we are really happy to enter into this new relationship with Arval.”
The partnership is planned to be operationally launched in early 2021.
